From the “Kids Say the Darndest Things” file…
The other night, while my wife and I were reading a nursery rhyme book to my eldest son and we came across the rhyme of Humpty Dumpty. Pointing to an illustration on the page, my wife asked him what story this was. Without a blink of an eye, my son replied, “That’s Honkey Donkey, Mommy!”
<deep breath and sigh>
There’s nothing like a good laught with the kids just before bedtime…
